When I Started: Feb, 2008
How I Started: I started working out pretty seriously in Oct. of '07, but it wasn't until Feb. of '08 that I made the official decision to compete in figure. My first show is scheduled for Nov. but I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will be ready for a July show!! :)
Why I Love It: A million reasons. hehe. I love that I am making a conscious effort every day to better myself. I have finally found something that I am passionate about. That is an awesome feeling! I am proud to be part of this lifestyle...
How I Stay Motivated: My fiance. He got me into this and he is always there to push me. There is also that competitive part of me that wants to lift more than him. Haha. I know it will NEVER happen, but it sure is good motivation and it's fun to try. :)

Goals:
Main Goal: Compete
Goal (Short): My short term goal (by 5/14/08) is to be at 16% Bf and weigh 125.
Goal (Long): My goal by 5/14/08 is to be at 16% bf and weigh 125. Our nutritionist/trainer/coach set that goal for me and it is already working out quite nicely. :) So, I am very excited about this goal and I know that I can reach it! By my first competition, my goal is to weigh 120 and be at 9% bf. I have never had a body to be proud of...but I WILL have that this summer! I will update these goals along with my progress....
Weight Goal: I want to LOSE 24 lb
Bodyfat Goal: 16%

He can spot me, but also he is there to motivate me!

What do you think about people who "grunt" loudly while working out? Do you do it?
If it works for you, it works! I don't thinnk I'm very loud..I have in headphones so i dunno.

ha ha ha the pic on the beach is actually rudy flipping off the camera if you look closely. we do plan on getting married in the near future though. we just got our first apt. together!!!!
