This was probly the worst competition exsperiance.I became very ill 2 weeks out.decided to do show anyways after going off diet thinking i wasnt going to compete.I was broke so i couldnt afford hotel room or anything.I was on tradmill 8hrs a day for 4 days after binging when i decided to not do it.Tried best to get condition back but wasnt happening.I canceled plane tickets already so i jumped in my car two days away from show and drove strait from fl to pittsburg pa.24hr drive.pounding down ephedrine to stay awake.car engine blew half way there.hitched a ride with a semi truck driver into pa then.hitched another ride to the competition.The semi truck driver made me leave all my clothes behind because of the weight limit on truck.crazy right.so i ended up making it to the show 15 min before weigh ins.conditioning was shot.but i competed anyway because thats what i set out to do.was worth it. |
