When I Started:
Jul, 1998
How I Started:
I got started in bodybuilding after High School, when I was a kid I remember looking at the bodybuilding mags and wanting to look just like them. I lifted in jr. High but nothing to serious/High School I didn't really lift at all.
Why I Love It:
I just love the feeling I get from lifting heavy weights, pushing myself to the limit. Becoming the best I can be; presenting the best "me" there is. I love the dedication, intensity, and focus that is required. I love the fact that it's an individual sport, the way you look or how well you do depends on you, not your teammates as in football/baseball etc. Lifting weights is not only my hobby but my passion as well. I love being looked at differently or admired for the mental toughness and tenacity it takes build my body and not take the often followed road of drinking and smoking that so many of our society get trapped into.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by trying to be better than I was before; always competing with myself. I'm never going to be the biggest or strongest guy, but I can be better than I was the day before!
BB Accomplishments:
Winning the 2008 Bodybuilding.com Recomposition contest.
My 3rd place finnish at the Iron Games.

This was my begining pic, it's actually even a few months after working out. I wanted to look just like the big guys in the magazines.
I'm guessing my bodyweight was 175 or so.
Not as cut as last pics, starting to bulk. Last set of pics for awhile, on a quest now to get Hyooge!
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
To many to choose, I'd like to achieve Skip Lacour's muscle mass and conditioning when he won the 2002 Team Universe Championship. Skip is without doubt the greatest natural bodybuilder ever.
A little update of what's been going on as far as training. I've resumed training after my back injury, getting stronger and looking forward to surpasing my previous level of muscularity and conditioning. I was not planning on competing this year due to being in Iraq and getting just two...
Doing great! I'm at tech school in S. Cali- just hit the gym today after getting out of bmt! Finally! So looking forward to hitting the weights. How are you doing?
Might if i qualify at NPC Southern States, but might hold off and do Team universe following year... Will see playing it by ear. Got 3 shows planned right now, and that will be #4 and not sure I want to over do it first time back...
Hey, good to hear from you. I’ve been off of BodySpace for a while. I have a ruptured bicep tendon/chronic tendinitis (haven't had decent insurance to get it fixed). It hurts like hell when I lift, but I work around it. I can do most exercises except biceps. Between September and February I was unemployed. Now that am working again, I haven't been working out consistently. Contests are out until I recover from the injury. Saw on the blog your injured you back. How’s your recovery going?
I'm may be stating the obvious, but maybe you can do standing calve raises on the smith machine with something to keep your heels off the floor. I see a lot of guys with great calves doing that. I'm probably gonna start doing that myself, actually. BTW, nice cut uo the side of quads, you do hack squats? I'm thinking of putting that into my routine. Thanks.
Good to see you back into it... Got your PM too. Will respond to that as soon as I can. I am going to compete in Open so i can get my National qualification... I looking to do the Team Unvierse next year hopefully.
Most guys would have been very content to walk around with the body in your first pic. Not us, we're not like "most guys". Great job in the progress photos. Excellent symmetry all around and calves. I want to have calves like that for my birthday. Keep up the good work.
wow man, i looked at your progress pics and though--this dude has changed a lot over 10 years! You must have a pretty plastic body to get it the way you want it--plus hard work. Nice job.
