When I Started:
Jul, 1998
How I Started:
I got started in bodybuilding after High School, when I was a kid I remember looking at the bodybuilding mags and wanting to look just like them. I lifted in jr. High but nothing to serious/High School I didn't really lift at all.
Why I Love It:
I just love the feeling I get from lifting heavy weights, pushing myself to the limit. Becoming the best I can be; presenting the best "me" there is. I love the dedication, intensity, and focus that is required. I love the fact that it's an individual sport, the way you look or how well you do depends on you, not your teammates as in football/baseball etc. Lifting weights is not only my hobby but my passion as well. I love being looked at differently or admired for the mental toughness and tenacity it takes build my body and not take the often followed road of drinking and smoking that so many of our society get trapped into.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by trying to be better than I was before; always competing with myself. I'm never going to be the biggest or strongest guy, but I can be better than I was the day before!
BB Accomplishments:
My 3rd place finnish at the Iron Games.

Progress Pictures

Jul 31, 2008
This was my begining pic, it's actually even a few months after working out. I wanted to look just like the big guys in the magazines.
I'm guessing my bodyweight was 175 or so.
Not as sharp as last progress pics, I've started to bulk. These will be the last group of pics I take for progress pics for awhile. Time to get MASSIVE!
What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
To many to choose, I'd like to achieve Skip Lacour's muscle mass and conditioning when he won the 2002 Team Universe Championship. Skip is without doubt the greatest natural bodybuilder ever.
In case you don't read my thread posts. I decided not to go to a surgeon as schedueled for a pre op. After ending up in the E.R. with a negative CT scan I've opted for chiropractic help. So far it's working great. I haven't felt this great in quite some time. Regular training has resumed with a...
Jadah, you're a winner regardless of any contest's results! Have a great weekend. I'm looking forward to reading/seeing who they selected. Placing any bets? I'm sorry you weren't recognized by MT for the tremendous changes you made!
Training's going good.bummed on the carb cycling.Trainer said should've dropped at least8lbs.added fiber supp'b/c haven't dropped,was told2add flax seed oil.have a couple more days(16total).Eating6meals a day,but since I have very long days,I had permission2add protein powder or egg whites if hungry.We'll see.can tell I've dropped,but not on the scale.
How's your workouts coming along?
looking 4ward to drill this weekend. Not sure what to expect tho...
See ya! ;D
Scivation whey is good stuff! Thanks for the info on buying it at Xtreme Nutrition. Did you know you get a govt discount? Hey, I got sworn in, so I'll be at drill this next weekend.
The gym doesn't have me scheduled to work at all this week (b/c of drill wknd). Hope all is going well for you. Catchya later.
Thanks.... the link was bad though. Where did you buy yours?
As for the Gold whey protein, where did you buy? Internet or local? I'm needing to buy some.....
Thanks! By the way, you're doing a great job- keep it up! Strive for excellence and keep up the progress.
I am pretty much back to good :o)
Believe it not, all I did was fall (knee cap meets concrete..not nice). It blew up right away and I basically couldn't bend or walk on it for weeks. It is about 95% better. The only thing is if I try to kneel, it still feels really bruised. I might have it looked at since it has been 3 months already!
Hey, welcome to the team at Platinum! It's a great place- just hoping to help encourage others to embrace the healthy lifestyle. What's the supp you were telling me about to help during carb cycling? (my trainer's going to drop my calories and carbs down even more.) I have a feeling I'm going to need it.
Catchya later.

Good! Getting back into the swing of things after I hurt my knee. Feels good to get back in. I am at the lowest I have even been and I can't wait to keep on losing!! Wish I could have completed the comp but I am rooting for you!
