How I Started:
Have always been interested, but, am just now moving forward in my dream of being healthier, toned and sculpted and knock dead gorgeous! LOL
Why I Love It:
I love the chiseled look of someone who works out! It is so sexy to me to see men and women who at a glance you can tell that they are physically fit and that they obviously workout with weights because their bodies have so much definition and no visual signs of body fat!
How I Stay Motivated:
My motivation comes from a couple of sources! (1). From the men and women who have already achieved the goals of where I want to be, physically. (2). From being fed up, once and for all. I am learning that this whole issue is only an issue within our own minds. That saying, "YOU CAN BRING A HORSE TO WATER, BUT, YOU CAN'T MAKE HIM DRINK!", is so very true! Figuratively speaking, I am that person who have been aware of all the resources and the how to transform my physical condition, but, I just wasn't disciplined and fed up enough with how I looked and felt...obviously so because I just wouldn't do right! Well, I have evolved and now, my motivation comes from my gut, my spirit...I feel like my life, my tenure here in the earth realm, my quality of life are all contingent upon my DOING THE RIGHT THINGS and pursuing this health and fitness transformation goal, that I have, with a vengeance! I know that it isn't going to be easy and that I am responsible for all of this. That being said, there are always consequences to ones actions and so the hard work that I have to put in today is a direct result of me allowing myself to get to this point on yesterday. However, I am NOT looking back on what I did then, but, instead, I am focusing on what I am going to be doing to better every aspect of my life going forward! It's important for everyone to know that extreme, unstoppable, unmovable, thought provoking and that drive towards moving to action type of MOTIVATION can't come from a person, place or thing...instead, it have got to come from within you. Every individual have to find that type of MOTIVATION within themselves, no one can do it for them. They have to figure out their "WHY" and get to that place of being completely fed up and have the willingness to put forth the efforts and hard work necessary to CHANGE!

I am going to lose body fat and tone and sculpt my entire body!
Goal (Long):
I used to be rather thin and shapely as a teen and young adult and most folks who knew me, back in the day, tend to think that it is now my desire to go back to that physical stature. NO! Like the 6 Million Dollar Man and Woman, my desire and Health & Fitness Transformation Goals include me being "BIGGER", "BETTER", more "DEFINED", FINE AS WINE GETTING BETTER ALL THE TIME! Ha, ha, ha! I must admit, there is some vanity here as well! I used to be that woman who couldn't walk two feet in front of her without men honking their car horns, talking smack out of the windows. I couldn't stand it back then, but, I miss it now! I want men to do a double take! I want men and women to be able to look at me once and even with blurred and uncorrected vision, be able to see that I am healthy, fit and that I work out with weights...no question! Most importantly, I want to be able to look in the mirror at myself and go, "Damn, girl, you're fine!" It's all about how I feel about myself! Back in the day, I walked with an air of confidence that no one and nothing could shake! That was because when I got dressed and I kept my hair done, I felt good because I KNEW that I looked good! My clothes hung on me exactly right, I had beautiful shapely legs which prompted me to wear more dresses and skirts, my hair always looked like I'd just left the salon and my make-up was subtle, but, flawless! NO ONE HAD TO TELL ME I LOOKED GOOD BECAUSE I LOOKED GOOD TO MYSELF...THE ONLY PERSON THAT COUNTS and so the honking horns, the attention that I got in clubs and in the general public, that was all extra attention that validated what I already saw in myself! It is that type of CONFIDENCE that I am looking to build within myself, on a greater scale, working that thing from the inside out! I want to "FEEL" great, "BE" great and "LOOK" great! CHANGE takes place first, within the individual man and then it permeates outwardly and can become quite contagious!

Hi Michele this is Terry a member of your same group just wishing you much sucess in your training.My advice to you would be to never deter from your goal or training. Pain is a sign of weakness leaving the body. On this journey you will hit walls and feel like you want to quit, just remember your statement about sucess and you should do fine.Have a great time getting fine lol.

My wife (bodyspace judimax) and I would love to see you make your fitness goals and dreams become reality. My wife went from a size 12/14 to a 4/6 and I lost over 50 lbs and went from 36 to 10% bodyfat in just 12 weeks by following the Body for Life program. Push yourself; possibly out of your comfort zone and you may be amazed at the results and the speed that they can occur. Give either of us a yell if you wish.
