I have been bodybuilding on and off for quite a few years now, but I have never stuck to any routine (OK - I've been damn lazy). I am now frustrated that I have wasted many years where I could have been building up a decent physique. It's now or never! I would like to mention that I am a strict vegetarian (and have been for 12 years), so I have to dig a bit deeper to get the right stuff into my diet. I do eat dairy products and eggs though.
Why I Love It:
I love bodybuilding because you get out of it what you put into it. It is great to see progress as a direct result of hard weight training/eating properly (and zzzzzz!).
How I Stay Motivated:
I really like Jay Cutler's videos. He's a quality guy and it always motivates me when I watch his videos. Also, looking at pics of some of the other greats. My fave bodybuilders are: Mike Mentzer (The Daddy!), Sergio Oliva, Arnold Scharzenegger, Franco Columbo, Jay Cutler and Ronnie Coleman.
BB Accomplishments:
I have put on some muscle mass over the years, but I'm fairly high in the bodyfat department at the moment so it doesn't really show. At the moment I really want to cut my body fat %

Although I have my own free weights at home (barbell, bench, dumbells) I have decided to join a gym. It is at a cost of £30 ($60/44euros) a month and I had my induction tonight. I didn't really need the induction, apart from being shown a very nice but strange looking stretching apparatus...
