Overall Goal: Live longer, stronger and look HOT doin' it!
(Oh, and get on the cover of an international tattoo magazine within 2 years)

Fit Status:
The Challenge: 1 woman, 1 month, -3% BF.
I came back to bodybuilding after a long break. When my fiance passed away suddenly, I not only rediscovered the sense of peace I get while lifting, I realized how important it is to stay healthy. Originally, I started in high school to keep in shape after I stopped dancing competitively.
Why I Love It:
It helps me to focus on what is important in my life and put things in perspective. When I see a ridiculously heavy tractor tire and then I'm able to flip it... it makes life's obstacles seem small by comparison.
How I Stay Motivated:
Right now I'm motivated by my clients. Seeing them work hard, overcome obstacles and move without pain is AWESOME! Also, I'm motivated by my best friend who tells me everyday how proud he is of me.
BB Accomplishments:
Being able to flip that damn tractor tire!
I will be adding "14% BF" to this list by March 27th, 2010.

I thought I was in decent shape here. Clearly, my mirror was warped. When I looked at these pics after my vacay I was HORRIFIED! How could I not know what I looked like. Well, NO MORE. This is the last time I will ever be 155 ever again.
Well, it may have taken me 8 months to get here, but I'm on my way. Minimal weight difference, but much more muscle and LOTS less BF. Going for 137lbs. Hoping to get there by Jan 1st!

Goal (Long):
I used to be an avid visitor of BB.com. Somehow I lost my way and forgot about priorities.
Not so long ago my fiance died suddenly at the age of 38, while we were on vacation. For a time, I thought I'd never live to see the day when I could wake up and not relive every moment of that horror. I thought I'd lost myself completely. Well...
...I'M BACK B!T@HE$!!!
I don't to waste another day. I've taken an inventory of my priorities and put them all where they belong. What are my top three?
1. To make healthy choices about my life, my body and my mind
2. ALWAYS remember that I have people around me who love and support me, but that I am responsible for the direction of my life
3. You cannot reap life-changing reward, without great challenge
Thus far, I have managed to rebuild a lot of the physique I once had, but I still have a ways to go. In the cutting department.
My short term goals (Jan 27, 2010) are:
BF: 16-17%
Fat Mass: 22-24lbs.
Lean Mass: 118-120lbs.
Total Mass: 142-144lbs.
My Long term goals (March 15, 2010) are:
BF: 13-14%
Fat Mass: 15-17lbs.
Lean Mass: 117-120lbs.
Total Mass: 132-137lbs.
When you start a journey, its good to have some company. Already there have been so many bumps and quite a few bruises, but he's been with me every step of the way. Every time I want to quit, I hear his voice telling me I can do it and it inspires me to keep pushing.
Apart we are strong, but together we're unstoppable!
This week was my first full week at my new job. I love it, but getting used to the long days is a bit harsh.
I've been so focused on work and prep for work that I've been cutting my training a wee bit short, but upping the intensity in order to get more out of the short time I have....
I have recently quit focusing so much on how much weight i can push in a set, and focusing more on how much weight I can move over a 45 min to 1 hr and 1/2 period of time. Last night I moved 86,436lbs in just under 50min. since I have started this I have put on six lbs of lean mass. particularly in my back, quads, and traps

Aw thanks babe :)I actually put myself on a 21 day paleo challenge. I'm on day four and doing great (even lost 5lbs already). I probably need to back away from the nuts a little, but I feel great! I will def continue to eat the paleo way after my challenge, but I'll prob include 2 open meals. Thanks for the info- I'll check it out!
