Contest History
Organization: IFBB
Contest: European Championships
Date: May 13, 2006
Location: Italy
Level: Amateur
Type: Figure
Bodyweight: 120 lb (54.5 kg)
Place: dnf
Comments: This show was 3 weeks after the Nationals, where my placing disappointed me very much. I felt so sad, I did not prepare well for this show. I didn't place here, as there were about 30 girls in my class who didn't place into the top 15. I agree with this placing, I was off. I went off-season after this show to recover and to rest, next season I hope to compete in the US for the first time on professional level.
Organization: IFBB
Contest: Dutch National Championships
Date: Apr 22, 2006
Location: Netherlands
Level: Amateur
Type: Fitness
Bodyweight: 118 lb (53.6 kg)
Place: 2
Comments: This show was my 'revenge' to last year, where I placed 2nd with just 1 point short to being 1st in the posing round. I did not want any doubt in any of the judges mind that I deserved to be 1st. I trained hard and dieted the whole year after this show the last year, never taking a break. I gained 15 pounds of muscle in one year. On stage, I was the only one with a professionally designed suit, hairstylist and make-up artist to help me present myself in the best possible way, and I was the only one lean enough with no cellulite on my legs. Competitors, judges, even competitors trainers knew I had it. But, it was not meant to be. Two of the judges trained the girls who won. I placed 2nd, with 3 points short to placing 1st. The judges explanation was: 'I didn't have a round butt'. Placing like this with no real explanation hurt really, really bad.

Location: Ukraine
Level: Amateur
Type: Figure
Bodyweight: 103 lb (46.8 kg)
Place: 13
Comments: This was my 3rd competition, again 3 weeks after my second one, which was also 3 weeks after my first show ever. My body was tired, plus I didn't have enough experience to place in the top. Those girls were competing in this show for years already.

Comments: 3 weeks after my first show, I won in all the rounds and placed 2nd, by a difference to 1 point to 1st place! I lost that point in the posing round, as I had just started competing.

1 Point though... Ouch, that hurt.

Comments: I had no idea about posing or anything about the show until a week prior to competition day.I had never seen a show before, and was talked through it as preparation. All I focussed on was preparing my body for a show for the first time.

I unanimously won the show. :-)
