When I was college, I wanted to change my body since I wasn't really fond of it. I joined a gym and started working out 5 to 6 days a week. After the 2002 spring semester, I had lost 30 pounds and was down to 250 lbs. Unfortunately, I gained it all back over the summer. Since then, I've been fluxuating between 265 and 275 and want to get back into shape. I just enrolled @ 24-Hour Fitness to start getting back into shape.
Why I Love It:
I love to hear my heart beating fast knowing that I am changing my body. I also like the feeling of sweat on my body. It makes me feel I'm doing a good thing to my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by looking at beautiful fitness women like Angel Teves, Katie Uter, Victoria Pratt, etc. Just by looking at them gets my blood boiling and gets me in the mood to workout.

I want to lose 50 pounds so the ladies will look at me instead of ignoring me.
Goal (Long):
Like in the example, I want to have a body that I am proud to say is mine. I would like to have a six-pack, have bulging arms and legs, able to bench at least 200 lbs., and have at least 15% bodyfat. I know that it will not be easy, but I am willing to put in the work.
I joined 24 Hours Fitness back in September. I usually workout my upperbody on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. And I workout my lowerbody Tuesday and Thursday. Plus I usually do between 30 to 40 minutes of cardio everyday @ the gym.

Hey - I've been gone for awhile.. comp went better than I expected - I placed 6th out of 21 - made first call in both rounds. Hope you are working hard at reaching your goals! If you are serious you can do it. I am a trainer and my clients are getting amazing results when they do what I tell them to do. :)

You can do it. I was in the same boat as you about a year ago(a bigger boat). Now I am down close to a hundred pounds and am alot stronger. A year ago I could barely bench 125, now I am benching over to and curling over 100. I know you don't like to hear it but both DIET and working out is key. If you are anything like me you like to eat. You can eat well and still eat clean though. Look forward to seeing you succeed.
