How I Started:
Football. I started working out for it in 2003 freshmen year, wasn't super dedicated but I try hard every time in the gym. I soon figured out I was close to breaking the bench record and tried for two years to do it, keeping my weight under 125 lbs. and finally broke it my junior year, benching 185 at 123 lbs. After my coach was too lazy to put the record up on the board for a few months I said **** it and screw breaking records, and started bodybuilding ... I feel I pretty much wasted a few years I could have been gaining for that stupid record, but hey you can't win them all. I started actually bodybuilding (eating right, resting right, lifting right) when I joined this forum, about the beginning of 2008 http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=82384 ^^^ Reference
