I really thought I updates this agrees ago but here it is...
My names Maxine and I'm a United States Marine. Fitness was never on the top of my list of priorities before I joined. Back then it was work, school, and paying bills. I've been a natural athlete my entire life and now my job requires me to be in shape and so I have developed a passion for it (sparked with the help of an ex boyfriend). I recently recovered from a broken collarbone and so I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Yet, with the two or so weeks that I've forced my ass outta bed at 0420 to get to the gym, I feel, see, and appreciate the progress I'm making through small accomplishments; one more pull-up, two more reps, heavier weight, and less fatigue. I love to read and educate myself on fitness and nutrition. I don't claim to know everything (especially since fitness is ever growing and changing) but I do know quite a bit. Before I was born my father did a small anout of ammature bodybuilding and growing up I would lift with him and he would teach me proper form and tecniques. We still talk fitness =). He's 65 w/ a hip replacement, back sugery, lupus, and has torn both rotator cuffs. He still goes to the gym 2-3 times a week--so anyone can do it! If you have tips for me, please share...questions, please ask!

Ahh my first Body Blog! Hopefully one day I'll look back on this and say, "Look at how far I've come since then!"
