When I Started:
Feb, 2005
How I Started:
I got started lifting weights for a few reasons, one of witch was getting tired of people calling me skinny in sports, and as frustrated as I got, in basketball for instance, I could'nt do anything about it. So my friend got me into lifting and I've been doing it since.
Why I Love It:
It gives me time to myself. All the problems of the day disapear and its just me and the weights.
How I Stay Motivated:
I constantly try and challenge myself. "ok, you did 225 5 reps last time... lets try for 6 today"
BB Accomplishments:
Well, I havnt had a lot of "accomplishments", but I guess my best goal achieved todate is breaking 250lb bench.

I would like to keep my bodyfat under 8%, and gain 15 pounds of muscle this year.
Goal (Long):
I have been a long distance runner all through high school, running upwards of 10 miles a day. This was great, as I got pretty good at the 5k (17:36), but I came to realize the sad truth.... women really dont care how much you can run. I came to this realization after the girl I loved left me for another guy. I'll spare you the details, but since that day I promised myself I would build a better body. since that time 2.5 years ago I went from a skinny 150lb at 6' to my current weight of 195. I know I still have plenty of room to improve. I would like to gain 15lb of muscle this year to put me at a cut up 210. Also I will increase my bench from 270 to 300+. I dont toil with this obsession to be the best for the girl anymore. I now do it for me.... so I can look at the transformation from month to month, year to year and proudly think... I built this....
