How I Started:
Originally I started training hard in my teenage years for Martial Arts, I was actually in great shape but sometime around college it all started to fall appart.
Why I Love It:
I love the challenge and the fact that there are always details to prefect, you can never be perfect so there is always something to work toward. I love the amount of personal discipline that it takes to stick with your program and work hard, makes every other part of my life that much better.
How I Stay Motivated:
I keep my eye on what I can become - I have been at one point in life very strong and fast and I know I can do that again but I also want to be better than that. The most rewarding thing about working out is that the results are with you every day, you can literally feel them.
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Yeah, the competition and motivation from a good partner helps me out a ton, its nice to have someone to spot as well so you can lift a bit more out of your comfort zone, my chest days are crap when I don't have my partner around. Bike Riding - its fun getting a good workout in the nice weather while going really fast!
