Well I started in high school, but haven't lifted or worked out since then (I graduated in 2001.) I was in a car accident back in 2002. I got T-boned by a 2500 Dodge Ram going about 40 to 50 mph. The arm rest in my car nailed me in the lower right region of my back.
After it happened I felt sharp pains when I would bend down. I'm just now starting to workout again since 2002.
Why I Love It:
I love feeling strong. I also love feeling sore, knowing that my body is going to rebuild even more muscle by the next week!
How I Stay Motivated:
God, and my Lord / Saviour Jesus Christ first and foremost. Through this experience of getting in the best shape of my life, the real motivation comes from knowing that God is teaching me and speaking to me through it. This site has already helped me a lot, seeing how many others my size were able to transform their bodies in such a short amount of time.

I'm just starting my workout again, after not working out in 7 years! So this is just a rough draft of what I've been doing since I started at the end of May 2009. Any suggestions would help. I'm not an expert at this stuff, nor do I claim to be.
GREAT progress Mark, I hope everything is going well for you :) Stay out of trouble. I'm doing my first competition in over 2 years next week really excited aobut that! Looks like your Broncos lost to the Ravens today ha!
God Bless,
Ash
I have not been on much here either and don't know if I will be for much longer. School is keeping me extremely busy so i'm not training too much usually 2 times a week. As for getting your abs to show its really hard and usually u have to cut out all carbs. Won't really work well if your trying to bulk and cut at the same time. So just keep your diet clean and watch the fats ;)

Hi Mark sorry its taken me soooo long to get back with you. I have been extremely busy and haven't had to time. You have made some great progress for only a few months :) Keep it up and you will be huge in no time like my Friend Michael who plays for the Arizona Cardinals :) I appreciate all the sweet comments on my pictures, I will pass your kind words onto Jeff. See ya later, I'm going out with a few friends

Hey Mark. Thanks...I really appreciate that. Your progress has been great, so I have no doubts that you'll reach your goals. Stick with it, and those gains will come...awesome work bro!
Hi Mark. I had an amazing time in California was great! LA is absolutely crazy driving. Good luck training just don't overt rain or go to the gym is you are not FULLY recovered. ;-) Flat bench and decline are your best friend in building pec as well as pushups
Great progress Mark! keep up the good work and don't worry about the uneven look it will even out over time :) using dumbbells on a flat bench helps, that and decline bench press. Train hard
Ash
oh boy that sounds crazy! I'm glad you survived. California is nice, I was thinking about moving there and decided against it because too many crazy left wingers. I'm going to be in Palm Springs friday and LA the following monday. Take care and stay out of trouble!
Good deal I'm sure your nephew was happy you could make it to his party! What kind of challenge are we talking about? I'm down for anything ;) Well almost.
Well, I don't drink as much as I use to but it's usually 1-2 glasses of wine a week at dinner. When I'm doing photo shoots, I cut out all alcohol consumption. Good luck with your contest! When cutting the fat really limit the carb intake, and sugars ;)
