Hey Rev, Stay the course. A plateau can hang in there for a week, or a month. But eventually it will succumb to your will! One thought, since you've lost so much weight, now may be the time for you to eat a little more and lift harder. Turn all those calories into muscle and energy!

Hey runner girl. Just checking in on your smokin' hot bod. : ) I noticed you go to LA fitness. There's one being built a half mile from my house. It would be more convenient as my current gym is 5 miles away. What's your opinion on LA Fitness? Thanks.

The buggy thing I am referring to is the "workout tracker" function on this site. %$*@ waste of my time POS! So I'm recording everything on paper now. I can't afford the time or frustration.

I like Bacon Salt on extremely lean meats. In addition to wild game, there's buffalo burger. That stuff is so lean, you've gotta do something to it. I add in some canola oil and bacon salt to make the flavor and mouth feel really pop. Also try the Bacon Salt on edamame (green soybeans) for a very tasty healthy snack.

Thanks, I knew about the glycemic index. I was just too dense to realize that's what GI stood for in your posts! For some reason I was stuck on thinking you were talking about the low gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Which would have been weird. Doh!

Hey James, I follow JJanet's comments because she always finds interesting people. So I read your blog and you mentioned "low GI spiking." A Google search led only to comments from you! So I'm wondering what it is. Is it just a fancy way of saying high-protein diet? Or is there more to it than that? What does low GI spiking actually mean? Thanks!

Hi JJ I just accepted a new job and had to do some traveling. So haven't had time to blog. It's nice to be missed. : ) Business travel makes it hard to lose weight though. All those business dinners and irregular workouts, at best. I'm lucky to keep from gaining weight!

To your comments on yeast intolerance. I once dated a women who said she loved French bread so much that she'd binge on it until she got a yeast infection. Kinda funny. Kinda gross. So I married her. : )

Rev, I just checked out your video. Tight guitar work man! I'm not familiar with the Horror Metal genre, really, but I love a good heavy metal guitar and you've got it. I like listening to Ramstein sometimes, probably because I can't understand the lyrics, which I understand are pretty dark in translation. I couldn't understand your singer either, but that's OK because I was enjoying your guitar work.

Juan, you look great! If I could get my fat level down to yours, I'd give you some of my pecs and lats. Nothing wrong with your body at all, except for the missing pants : ) But seriously, if you want to bulk up, try going heavy on bench press and rows once a week. 4-6 rep max. That ought to help. Just keep it safe on that bench with a spotter or a rack.
