I weighed 280 at 5'6'' and I couldn't do a single pushup or run or anything...
SO, I got my butt in gear, lost 170lbs in 10 months.
Why I Love It:
Because it is what it is -- creating your body, sculpting it - it's an art form.
How I Stay Motivated:
Before pictures...it's also fun so motivation is easy!
Knowing that each workout breeds improvement, if only just a little.
BB Accomplishments:
4% for 4 months!
Running 10 miles in 71.5 minutes....117 pushups in a row, no breaks. 225lb bench max. 19 pullups....those are all cool - - though I remember the very first time I was able to do 1 pullup...I thought I had arrived ;)

man--yours is one of the most impressive transformations. i've come from a similar ,but not as dramatic place, so i know how difficult the journey is to get and to maintain. you're truly inspiring brother. keep leading the way.
Thanks for your input to my post on the Forum. Your transformation is both amazing & inspiring. And a jazz musician; how cool is that? My favorite music genres are contemporary jazz (and big band swing) & contemporary Christian.
Thanks man for the rep.
Yeah, it really sucked, but I managed to bounce back from it. It was more a psychological thing and caused me to go through periods of terrible, dirty cheats and even hypothermia, pneumonia, and getting diagnosed with asthma. I'm much stronger now though because of this setback though.
