How I Started:
I was a weightlifting club member in high school and continued over my adult years on-again- off-again. On St. Patrick's Day last year I decided to see what's left in this body and have made it for the past year on a regular basis. Looks like it still works.
Why I Love It:
I really enjoy the positive aspects...strength to help support tired joints, the regular habit of lifting 5 days adds structure to life, diet adds days to life and I just like looking good for my wife.
How I Stay Motivated:
One good work-out leads to the next.

I work out 5 days per week in my at-home gym working one body area per day. As I travel extensively, I try to do as many workouts as possible but occassionally cannot exercise on the road. I try to make up as much as I can on weekends although these are usually abbreviated sessions.

Mark, I try to challenge myself in the gym and at the same time, train safe and smart. That means proper warm-up, stretching, proper form, etc. I'd like to be able to toss the weights around like the kids do however I know I'd pay a heavy price.
