"To get bigger and get better abs at the same time.
Its all about proper NUTRITION, TRAINING and REST/RECOVERY. I have BIG expectations for how I want to look by October."
I used to do random exercises during Summer 2006 with friends in the gym. I really got started when I left my swim club after 8 years and found the gym as a way to stay fit/in shape, which was in August 2006. I wanted to get bigger for chicks, but I really got in to the lifestyle when I started to see my body changing. I became extremely dedicated and soon I was a regular. Watching WWE also motivated me(especially when I saw John Cena and some of the other muscular/toned wrestlers). I found WWE superstars workouts and started lifting rotating through workouts. I've done several sports on teams like: swimming, waterpolo, wrestling, football. I like sports but nothing gives me the pump of weightlifting and everything I've gotten from it. I now lift 3-5 times a week. I do abs and cardio 3 times a week.
Why I Love It:
Because of the way it makes me feel. I love the pump and lifting the iron. Watching my body change and my lifts improve makes me feel great. I'm also more confident and the women love my body. Bodybuilding is an art form where you sculpt your body to how you want it. Its a huge challenge if you consider all the aspects like dieting, weightlifting, cardio and possibly sports.
How I Stay Motivated:
*WOMEN* Seeing changes in my body and size, getting compliments, visualizing and attaining my goals. I can't picture my life without it, its just a high I can't get from anything else. The reasons I love it (listed above) also keep me going.
Motivation isn't difficult when it comes to training, instead I find it hardest when it comes to dieting, but I know it goes hand in hand with the training.
I look at the aspects that have brought me to where I am today.
The 10 keys to my Success:
1. AMBITION
2. BELIEF IN ABILITY
3. COMMITMENT
4. DEDICATION
5. DETERMINATION
6. DISCIPLINE
7. EXPERIENCE
8. INTENSITY
9. MOTIVATION
10. PERSEVERANCE
I also keep binders/journals filled with workouts, pictures, useful information, weight stats and progress.
And I use this site to neatly display all my information and talk with others.
BB Accomplishments:
Gaining lots of muscle and constantly improving my lifts. Dedicating myself at 100%.
Being completely natural and NOT using steroids like some dumb ****.

To get bigger and get better abs at the same time.
Its all about proper NUTRITION, TRAINING and REST/RECOVERY. I have BIG expectations for how I want to look by October.
Goal (Long):
-End up around 240 pounds with low body fat by the age of 20 (the natural way) so that I can have a physique like John Cena.
-I want to keep my nutrition, training and rest/recovery in check.

-Take a Kinesiology course?
-Get sponsored.
-Appear in fitness magazines.
What supplements do you take immediately before your workout? Why?
ALWAYS: Universal's Animal Pak Multivitamins - with meal prior to training and Optimum Nutrition's 100% Gold Standard Whey or Optimum Nutrition's 100% Gold Standard Egg or 1 of these combination proteins, such as Nutrabolic's Isobolic, Anabolic Trigger, BSN's Syntha-6 or Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex.
For a pump: BSN's NO-Xplode/Endorush, SuperPump250 or Muscletech's NANO Vapor.
DURING CREATINE PHASE: I like Universal's Animal Pump - Pre-workout] or Muscletech's Cell-Tech, Nitro-Tech Stack - Post-workout]or BSN's Cellmass - Post-workout] with N.O.-XPLODE Pre-workout] and Nitrix 3 times daily.
-I pick one of these 3, most commonly BSN.-

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
Deadlift - my form was a little off and I payed for it. I strained my back and was out 2 weeks. Luckily that isn't too long, but I still felt a need to lift. I recovered fast and felt fine just over a week later.Deadlift - my form was a little off and I payed for it. I strained my back and was out 2 weeks. So I just recently ran out of Animal Pak and I've been debating whether or not to get a new pak because of the many studies I've heard/read of.
The news along with many magazines have stated access amounts of these vitamins/minerals clog arteries and veins and can be fatal. They advise against...
Mark, you've made some great progress in the recent months. You've packed on a great deal of muscle and have really added the definition. Awesome abs and adonis belt. Chest looks great and as you add some mass it will only look better. Keep up the great work and you will obtain your goals.
Hey bro, thanks for the kind words, they're much appreciated! Man, you're in great shape. It's inspiring to see young dudes your age taking care of their bodies. Keep up the good work!
yeah, its hard to decide what to do with carbs. its hard to find the perfect balance that allows u to gain good clean mass and still keep the fat off. but good luck man1
u look like ur abs pretty well developed. i had developed abs for a while but didnt realize it since they were covered with fat. the key for me was diet and cardio. my abs are best when I eliminate bad carbs and stick to veggies and fruit and the occasional complex carb. also i like to do at least 3 days of cardio at the end of a workout. hit me up if u got any other questions. good luck man!
training wise 3days on 1day off, cardio wise for my 4wks of dieting i would walk in the morning on a treadmill for 30 min. 8-10% incline at 3mph. Hope that helps, Thanks for the support, again.
Jessie
