Thanks for checking! I haven't been updating my journal because it was getting redundant posting almost the same thing every day. LOL I've added mobility training to my regimen, and it's really kicking my ass. I think that's what I needed to push me past my self-imposed limits. Both my speed and endurance are worlds better than they were three months ago. December in Netanya here I come!

You'll get into a good groove with the MA. When I'm training hard for combat like I am now, I only do two days of strength training with the barbell and one day of kettlebell conditioning per week anyway. I'm sure you'll hit your stride and work out a method that suits you perfectly.

Everything's great, brother. I'm just spending more time actually training and not so much talking about it. I'm hoping to get to the point that training for five hours daily isn't going to kill me. LOL

My trick with the Brussels sprouts were actually my wife's cooking of them. She sneaked them past me with bacon, drippings, vinegar, and a hint of sugar. :)

I must be slow on the uptake. I didn't even know this "leave a comment" thing existed until today. LOL I hurt my abs doing something really silly. I was doing a standing hamstring stretch and tightened my abs to loosen my hamstrings and cramped up in the abdominal wall. I had a charlie horse for about a week. LOL

Good luck at your appointment. The neck and shoulder are finally good to go, but I got a charlie horse in my abs on Friday evening that wrenched me good. I don't know when I'll be back to regular training again, but at least I can still box.
