Overall Goal: Training hard to get totally ripped and to be in the best shape of my life.
Fit Status:
Since beginning with P90X I feel really like a million dollars. In Taekwondo I noticed my overall performance has greatly improved. Love it!
I started with "P90X" in the middle of December 2008. It's just the kind of workout I like. It is strenuous, extreme, varying and highly motivating with a great instructor.
When I began my training, I had 16.5% body fat. By the end of May 2009 I dropped below the 10% margin for the first time in my life.
Why I Love It:
It is hard, it always wears me out and I love the sweat running through my face. Sport wouldn't be sport to me if I wouldn't sweat. And I like eating a lot. I hate all kinds of diets, I've been through all of them. None of them works. Working out tough is the best way to have a great body and to eat like a monster at the same time. :)
How I Stay Motivated:
I simply love doing sports and pushing my body to the limit. Honestly, I do not have the problems to stay motivated which many others have because this is the one and only thing that makes me really happy. I also teach kids and adults in Taekwondo for over ten years. That's my favourite sport. Martial arts is simply great to bring my mind in balance and to stay sharp. And I really love to kick and punch, hehe.
BB Accomplishments:
- Staying safe and sound
- Getting more ripped and muscular
- 100 push-ups
- 25 chin-ups
- Maybe competing one day

This image was taken in the beginning of November 2008. During this time, I did not working out with weights and especially not training my abs. But as you can see, I was already quite fit in an overall view.
Estimated 17% body fat.
Lower abs showing up...slowly but steady without dieting hard.
BigPopaJaye is so kind! He always cares for his workout buddies, always giving hints and encouragement. I love him! :) And he really works out hard. Just take a look as his progress pictures! Superman in the making! :)
Cowboy Gene is 69 years old, looks 20 years younger and is still in great shape! This is stunning. I just want to be the same when I have grown up! :) Keep up this great work!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Kenpo Cardio Plus (P90X+).

What is your cardio exercise plan?
I really like cardio workouts and heavy sweating. Since I go back to a full-time job quite soon I have to cut my workouts from five or six to three per week, maybe four when Taekwondo acts as a cardio training. First real rest day for weeks. I enjoyed that, especially my inner thighs. They were still sore from my weekend workouts, so they were overdue to recuperate. Also cleaned up my writing-desk and did some other fancy housework. In recompense for the "hard work", I indulged myself in...
1.) P90X, partially with some additional cardio workouts from P90X+, Turbo Jam and Tony Horton's One-on-One. Currently I'm doing the "Doubles Routine", meaning weight training in the morning and a cardio workout in the afternoon or evening three or four days a week.
2.) Taekwondo...
