When I Started:
Jun, 2001
How I Started:
It was the summer going into my senior year of high school. I was always an athletic kid, and for some reason I made the decision that summer that I wanted to begin to lift weights and become a bodybuilder. I got a gym membership in the summer of 2001 and never once looked
back or questioned my new life style.
Why I Love It:
I honestly love the feeling of being in the gym. For that hour in half or so that I am in there, nothing matters, it is only myself and the weights. I also love to train hard and smart, and I am always reading up on nutrition and supplements to increase my knowlege and thus apply that to my daily routine in order to see maximum results.
How I Stay Motivated:
I workout out solo, and for many people this can be detrimental because they begin to slack due to the fact that they find it hard to stay motivated. I find my motivation through reading bodybuilding magazines such as Flex, watching bodybuilding videos such as "Pumping Iron", "Cost of Redemption", "The Unbelievable", and so forth. Other ways I stay motivated is by going through the bodybuilding.com website and
browsing through other bodybuilders bodyspace pages, or simply by reading an
interesting article or going through some competition pics.
What is your favorite "healthy" dessert? Give the recipe if applicable.
I don't have healthy desserts, when i do have a dessert it is unhealthy, but I will usually down a protein shake afterwards to justify my consumption of it.

Where do you find healthy recipes to try?
I keep it simple, but i guess you can buy a Martha Stewart book to get creative in the kitchen.

What type of nutrition plan are you currently following? Give full details.
Oatmeal and eggs in the morning, 3 whole meals during the day (consisting of chicken breast or steak with some kind of carb side like brown rice or pasta), postworkout shake and jelly sandwiches. I probably have around 4 meals a day, in a perfect world i would consume closer to 7 meals, but my body responds well do this, although I will be trying to get in more meals soon.Oatmeal and eggs in the morning, 3 whole meals during the day (consisting of chicken breast or steak with some kind of carb side like brown rice or pasta), postworkout shake and jelly sandwiches.
