How I Started:
I have been a basketball player my whole life, even through college on scholarship. I've always been active, but when I graduated college 2 years ago, got a corporate job and was also juggling Grad school, i quickly put on about 13 pounds. My best friend, Breawn, and I got together in August and decided to get into the best shape of our lives together.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel. I feel powerful, in control and strong, not only physically but mentally and in every aspect of my life. After a hardcore workout I get this crazy high and a feeling like I can do anything.
How I Stay Motivated:
I stay motivated by keeping a journal with my best friend. Every Mon/Wed/Fri we send each other updated pictures, measurements, weigh-ins and written journals about what we eat. This keeps us both accountable and we are so competitive that we want to beat each other to our goals!
BB Accomplishments:
I have completed a three full months staying dedicated to working out daily and sticking to my diet. I have "cheated" a couple times but I try not to beat myself up about it.
Going into my fourth month, I am 8lbs lighter and have lost over 8 inches between my waist, chest, hips and booty! I think that's an awesome accomplishment. I am trying to drop about 15 more lbs by May 2010.

Goal (Long):
I have always been fit, but never to the point where I was completely happy. I have always wanted a six-pack stomach and slim, toned arms. I am finally at the point in my life where I am willing to make the sacrifices to do it. On the outside looking in, I look like an average girl, but I don't want to be average anymore. I want to be strong, confident and have the body I have always wanted!
She has been my best friend for 18 years and has always been there for me. She is hardcore in the gym and I love her determination to stick to her diet! She is the one who inspired me to begin my transformation. Next summer we will be in our teeny bikinis on the beach struttin' our stuff!
What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
Uphill walking variation on the treadmil. It always surprises me how hard it can be when I rev up the incline and speed! I love the burn ni my glutes!

What is your cardio exercise plan?

UHHHHHH whats a half marathon again HAHAHA just kidding. Yeah I just keep telling myself 1 day at a time thats all.....tomorrow I have a final I am confident about, wednesday is the one that I need to kick ass on. i know it has been way too long..but i am so glad u r doing well!! i am getting back on track..had a few weeks of slacking..but i cant believe it was thanksgiving yesterday..time is flying..it will be europe time for u before u know it!!
