My Workout Program
We start out with a warmup run around the block then we stretch our entire bodies. Then we get into the fun stuff: pushups, chin ups, dips, leg raises, crunches, and so on and on.....
The class is growing but we have a great group and we all motivate each other to do our best.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have Kung Fu lessons at 18:00 til 20:00. We do the same stretches as in the morning but a little more advanced to open up our hips and legs a bit more. Body weight exercises as well. Then into the self defence practice and forms.
All of this has been enough until now but I am looking for more. Ive been thinking of getting back into weight lifting my only concerns are that I do not want to affect my flexibility or overtrain making my other classes suffer.
Very recently I started doing yoga after work before Kung Fu and it is a great work out for what I have been doing.
