When I Started:
Jan, 1993
How I Started:
I started working out when I was 19 with a friend of mine who was a trainer, and learned the ropes! Many, many years later...I am now a mother of 2 kids (1 & 3 years...yep, I am BUSY) and trying to get really, really lean. I hate when mom's say that they are heavy now because they had kids...lame! (That gives mom's a bad rap) OR...even worse, the people who won't have kids because the think it will destroy their body. It is a great time to be in shape for my kids, my hubby, my esteem, and my health!
Why I Love It:
RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS. Enough said!
Well, and I truly enjoy the "ME" time...It is one of the few things I do for myself. I also have a parent who is terminally ill...It helps me "deal" with it in some ways.
How I Stay Motivated:
Results! Looking at all of you super lean gals & super motivated people!
I think of those people who can't work out because they are injured or sick. I am blessed to have a healthy body.
BB Accomplishments:
Having two kids and getting my body back! That is a MAJOR accomplishment for me!
She is just as beautiful on the inside as she is outside. She has worked sooo hard to get where she is, and I TRULY admire her determination and discipline. :)
This girl is about one of the most down to earth, sweetest gals around. She ALWAYS takes the time to respond to messages, and she has an AMAZING body and dedication.
He sucks. Look at what he has done just by having 30 seconds of glory with several hundred ho's. Darn shame. His wife is a hotty and he has adorable kids. See...money does not buy happiness. Loser.
Training hard, building muscle...that's it...that's all I got. :) Peace, love...
Thank you very much for being so kind! I don’t think it’s luck so much as it is I know my body. The entire time I was pregnant, I could not workout due to complications, so I had a very long rest. My body has responded well to that. Plus, my diet is so dead on except for my cheats, but I also know how badly I need those too! Years ago, I was a cardio junkie, and I was small and muscular, but I was WAY too lean. That’s not exactly what I’m going for this time around. ?
I see. I'm sorry about to flip the F out seriously. Now I'm not closing on the 4th because my Realtor is a bone head. The gas company wont turn on the gas without seeing the hot water heater. They can't come again till next Tuesday. Means I have no clue when closing will be and I'm ready to explode. (Dragon ball Z) If your never see it....I just want to power up and release it at once destroying everything in my wake. :/
Lots of meat, old fashioned oatmeal, & almonds...I don't eat nearly as many veggies as I used to or as I need to anymore. :-) I don't do cardio. It's too taxing and leans me out TOO much. I cheat either once a week or I wait a couple of weeks and cheat 2 or 3 times. It works out great. I only train 2-3 times a week due to working full-time and being a mom and wife. :-)
Back awake! Luckily I had already packed half the items last week. I just have some odds and ends. What kind of cardio do you do? I'm curious because I need to add it to my work outs this time.
You are very good about those things. I can relate to the crabby thing because when I get uptight with myself on things, it's hard for me to separate that mood from moods I should be in for everything else. So we'll ease up on our opinions on ourselves :D We know what to do, so we'll just keep doing it.
You really are too hard on yourself and you have no reason to be. You look incredible. But those are great goals to have. Improvements without tearing yourself down.
