How I Started:
I started working out when I was 19 with a friend of mine who was a trainer,and learned the ropes! Many, many years later...I am now a mother of 2 kids (1 & 3 years...yep, I am BUSY) and trying to get really, really lean. I hate when mom's say that they are heavy now because they had kids...lame! (That gives mom's a bad rap) OR...even worse, the people who won't have kids because the think it will destroy their body. It is a great time to be in shape for my kids, my hubby, my esteem, and my health!
Why I Love It:
RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS. Enough said!
Well, and I truly enjoy the "ME" time...It is one of the few things I do for myself. I also have a parent who is terminally ill...It helps me "deal" with it in some ways.
How I Stay Motivated:
Results! Looking at all of you super lean gals & super motivated people!
I think of those people who can't work out because they are injured or sick. I am blessed to have a healthy body.

She has the ultimate body, and she tells you plain and simple....it takes hard work, and discipline eating. You either give it 100% or do not have excuses.
i think that's a good plan.. start slow :) no tootsie rolls in site this w/e but i did indulge in some black berry cream cheese pie. think the tootsie rolls woulda been better :)
i've never had much luck with a cheep pedometer. i'd be sitting and it'd say i walked 50 steps! if i'm going in neighborhoods, i track it first in my car. for trails, Crlgrl has tracked using her mt. bike and gone off her bike computer. Of course, you could always get a GPS or NIKE smart runner, but until you're totally hooked, i'd suggest waiting on those :)

He worked up a 3 day plan so if I can get to the gym more than 3 days, I just rotate through it (I do "Day 1" on the 4th day if I have the opportunity). It's going to be hit and miss while the kids are home because of my husband's work schedule. I want to get to the gym a MINIMUM of 3 days. Saturday and Sunday is doable for sure.
Nevermind. I had a good cry and I'm as good as new now. Hey, in my new blog one of the split second shots of me is me using my fingers to make goat horns(!) as an homage to YOU. Can you pick up the goat horns shot or does it fly by too quickly?
