How I Started:
I quit drinking and automatically lost 20 pounds. I was inspired by my best friend after I watched her first competition. I did my first competition in December 2007 and now I am addicted!
Why I Love It:
Looking good! Feeling good!
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm just kind of a gym rat I love it. Even if I'm tired I know I feel better when I walk out the door so its not hard for me. Plus its an adrenaline rush when you get on stage!
BB Accomplishments:
Completing my first competition and surviving dieting.
I've gained quite a bit of muscle since I competed in December 07. Since I've put competing on hold for the time being I just want to lean out so I feel better. I've started running which is a new venture for me! I don't love it yet but I think there is the potential to. Just tearin it up in the gym for now and doing 30 to 60 minutes of cardio 5 to 6 days a week.

Felt very motivated this morning. I got up at 5 and ate. Then went to a 6am yoga class. Lifted back afterwards and bike for 30 minutes. I'll either take the pup for a 3 mile run before my 1pm appointment or head back to the gym and hit the treadmill after work tonight. Its gonna be...
Thanks, I appreciate that you accepted my friend invite. Continued success to you in accomplishing all your health and fitness goals. Have a good week.
Yes-I'm a firm believer that if your body can handle the running, then it's by far the fastest way to drop the extra lbs. I wasn't a runner until after the birth of my kids...now I'm a regular 'Forest Gump'-haha!
Heyyyyyy! How are you girl? So glad to hear from you! Actually, I'm in a lean mass gain phase right now. My trainer asked me to wait till '10 to compete @nationals-wants me looking like the horse, not the pony-LOL! How is everything??
Cool, what color are you going for on the suit? yeah, i'm recovering and just got the ok to go back to the gym next week, just light weights, but i can deal with that for awhile :)
Just been busy w/work-the new year didn't slow down for me one bit w/training clients & I love it! Prepping for the national stage this year-really excited but sooooo nervous! Please keep in touch as you get closer to your comp!
