When I Started:
Nov, 2004
How I Started:
I started working out at Bally's Fitness at the age of 19. I fell in love with weights, cardio, and what they did for my body.
I quit working out after baby #1, and by baby number 2, I had gained 50 lbs of body fat.
I rejoined Bally's at that time, lost 50 lbs, and maintained that 50 lb weight loss for about 5 years.
Then baby #3 came along.
To make a long story a tad bit longer, I quit the gym once again, in the name of good motherhood. (Big mistake ladies!)
With that, and a large amount of post-partum depression, I managed to gain over 100 lbs, leaving me at a devastating 245+lbs.
After 7 years of no exercise, I eventually rejoined a gym, in my local rural community.
I have managed thus take off 100 lbs and I am still going.
A work in progress, at age 38 (&1/2), I find that I love the weights more than ever.
I believe they saved my life.
Why I Love It:
It makes me lovvvvvvvvvvvvvvve my body! =)
SERENITY, BALANCE, STRENGTH, ENDORPHINS!
Better than an anti-depressant and a natural aphrodisiac.
How I Stay Motivated:
Looking at other women more dedicated and resolved than myself.
Looking at pictures and bio's of died in the wool fitness chicks in magazines such as Oxygen.
Talking to hot muscle babes online.
Henry Rollins, "The Iron"
Knowing that as we age, we must lose beauty, but we do not have to lose strength.
Remembering where I came from, and vowing never to go back.
BB Accomplishments:
Losing 120 pounds of bodyfat and keeping it off. Having abs that I can feel. Becoming more confident and true to myself each day.

Wearing a bikini at a public pool, a 13 year old girl looked up at me getting into the water and said, "Wow! You're prettty!!" lol... & a teenage lifeguard kept taking my picture. ;)
Ava Cowan asked me to be her bb.com friend! :)
Boys tell me they want to worship me, go down on me, and kiss my pretty muscles! I believe them! =)
I was chosen...

I had topped out at about 250 lbs or more. My body hurt, to say the very least.
I had gastric reflux and sleep apnea. I also had severe and crippling lower back pain from the discs in my lower back. They were quickly deteriorating from the pressure on my spine. Because of chest pains and shoo ...
Looking forward to a steak and shrimp dinner...maybe with some fruity martinis....mmmmmmmm.
Goal (Long):
I am adopting the mindset of the eternal narcissist. If it was good enough for Arnold, it is good enough for me. Think female wrestler. I have made my body worthy of worship. I am perfectly imperfect. I am strong, powerful, confident, sexy. I have thick full muscle bellies with lots of curves and form.
Had a good workout today. My delts were PUMPED and burning. I have to be careful with my left shoulder. It gets some twinges. I'm sure I've done some slight damage in there with heavy presses, throwing my DBs up, etc. I really don't rest much between sets though I feel like I do. Today...
Maddi I think you drive ME crazy in these new photos more than you drive the MEN! JAW DROPPING BEAUTIFUL!! I'M SO RIGHT BEHIND YOU! HAHAHA...seriously though, can i be? ;)
WOW! You are an amazing looking woman. Keep up the great work. Good luck on your goals. How i would love to have a woman in my life like you. You are very inspirational to me.
