How I Started:
I was always a scrawny kid, until a couple years of college/abysmal eating habits went by and I noticed I had developed man-boobs. Clearly unacceptable, I decided to start running and doing some light weightlifting. Several false starts later, here I am, with no real progress to speak of.
Why I Love It:
The feeling of mental clarity from the blood flow and oxygen after a workout. Knowing I just advanced another step toward my goal.
How I Stay Motivated:
I just picture my goal in my head, then I picture a flabby 200lb. me holding a 44oz Mountain Dew. That usually does the trick.
I believe that it is best to have a plan and to follow a proven program when it comes to weight loss and/or getting into great shape. What helped my wife (bodyspace name: judimax) go from size 12/14 to 4/6 and me lose over 50 lb’s, and go from 36 to 10% bodyfat in only 12 weeks was following the Body for Life program. It is not super easy nor is it so hard that you won’t be able to achieve your goals. Challenge yourself you will be amazed at the changes and how fast they happen.
