Background
I've always had an interest in working out and keeping fit from a young age and sometimes wish that i had gotten into bodybuilding/weight lifting alittle earlier than i did. But I aim to make up for lost time and hit every session as hard as i can and leave nothing on the table
Whats not to love? Looking and feeling better, pushing my body to the limits and then trying to go beyond.

Smith Machine Squats
1 warm up set with bar
3-4 working sets 12-20 reps
Legs are hated by most so seems ideal to get them out of the way first thing but I stress just because its the first still need to go all out
Incline Bench Press
1 warm up set with bar
3 sets 8-12 reps
Awesome for bringing out the upper pecs and a great place to start,you can focus on the lower chest later.
Lat Pulldown
1 warm up set
3 sets 8-12 reps
Really enjoying the lat pulldown at the moment to add abit of width to the back
Dumbbell Shoulder press
3 sets 8-12 reps
All good full body workouts should have an overhead press in there.
Now I do bicep curls on a monday, dumbbell pullovers on a wednesday and tricep work on a friday just to add alittle extra to the arms. But normally my arms are pretty hammered from all of the above so i wouldn't worry too much about them.

Its all about timing
Posted in Working Out : Mar 14, 2011 4:59amWell its the begining of the week and that means its an early monday morning workout as I have to do the evening shift at work. I'm not a massive fan of working out first thing in the morning but when you start work mid-day then its the only option.
Brief summary of the workout was that it was pretty good managed to up the weight alittle on my squats so I'm pretty pleased with that and felt like I pushed pretty hard on all of my other sets as well.
