I have gotten my best gains in shoulders training as heavy as possible in the 5-8 rep range. DB presses, BB presses, Clean & press, Widegrip upright row, UH straight bar front raises, and lateral raises are the exercises i cycle into my routine.

Got back today and really looking forward to it. Hoping to hit some PR's on weighted pullups and cable rows - last light session they felt really good.

Hey man how is your training going? I really appreciate all of your support in my journal and other threads as well. You should really start up a journal id like to help you out in way i can. It really does make a difference when you are able to take a step back and see exactly what you have been doing - and also allowing others to do the same thing. You get lots of great feedback.

Ya it is but regardless it is lacking compared to other lifts. My back has always been a weak point and i have been hitting it very hard as you can see in my journal. A lower back injury i got doing leg press (poor form and too much weight) set me back on squats and deads too.

Ya just keep at id even try to throw in a bit more food, you seem to be under 1000 cals. Eat often and drink a ton of water to keep that metabolism working. Try to aim for 1500 cals between 4-5 meals.

Its a rough road if you are trying to burn fat and pack on lean muscle. Hows your diet?

Its coming along slowly but surely. I had a bit of a setback on my bulk this week from a sinus infection and had to take 4 days off. Im down to about 169 but im hoping it was water weight. Im looking to get up to 185-190 by the end of spring but that is just a 'goal' because i will be bulking past that anyway lol
