How long do you rest between sets on average? Why?
Usually a minute or less. Quite often I am pressed for time and do Supersets and only "rest" enough to catch my breath. 10 reps - easy to count and track I guess.

Have you ever had a lifting injury?
Yes
What type of injury was it? How long were you injured? How did you recover?
It wasn't from "lifting" but pushups - I tweaked my shoulder (probably rotator cuff). It was very noticeable for weeks. Rest seemed to be the key to it feeling better.
