I got started because I've been stuck with this fat around my mid-section for my whole life and I want it gone. Along with that, I've always thought I was fairly puny and being that I dress like a rocker with the tight clothes, long hair and guy liner, I need to grab any "man points" I can. haha Basically, I want a flat stomach and to bulk up.
I really want to get into MMA, dirty boxing in particular.
Why I Love It:
Over the last year and some months I still haven't hit the gym hard enough to see the results I want. I've made very little progress but each workout does feel really great. I love how it elevates my mood and has made SOME change to my body.
How I Stay Motivated:
By looking in the mirror everyday. Thinking about being able to be around the pool or beach with 100% confidence in how I look.
BB Accomplishments:
None.

What MSirrine Is Up To:
Dec 23, 2009
MSirrinechanged Weight from 179 lbs. to 179.5 lbs., a 0.5 lb. gain in 2 days
I want to cut the fat and put on some muscle. Going for the David Beckham look.
Goal (Long):
I want to have a flat stomach and some good muscle size and tone. I'm not looking to be completely shredded and huge at all. Something along the lines of David Beckham or Brad Pitt in Fight Club. I was always the chubby kid growing up. I'm fairly "skinny" by most standards but I still have this layer of fat around my belly and my upper body that has been difficult to get rid of. I want a completely flat stomach with a bit of a six pack showing and some decent muscle size. I've finally started puting in the time at the gym necessary to reach these goals. We'll see how it goes!
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and I'm not sure what if anything I'm doing right. I'm making some ok performance progress. I took a progress picture in April 2009 and then another this morning (October 16th, 2009) and I look almost exactly the same. That is incredibly discouraging...
Hey, congrats on the progress you've already achieved. Keep up the great work and you'll reach the look you want. Awesome sleeve. Lift heavy and train insane. Keep me informed on how things are going
