Not quite there yet but I need to eat some peanut butter cups!! I will take a diet break while continuing to train to get over my desire to eat a few bad things. Going forward, I may allow myself one bad day a week. Not sure.

Goal (Long):
To be get better everyday at resisting temptation and maintain a strong desire to be healthy. I would love to be bigger but not if I'm spending hundred's in supplements. Protein powder and protein bars are it. I have learned so much in the past 2 years and I get more and more disciplined. A healthy body is 99 percent mental.
She's the real deal. Excellent shape, great personality (does not appear to be in to herself like some others) and seems to be a very fun person. She has posted a lot of videos showing that she 'keeps it real' and struggles with the same challenges the rest of us do.
I can't say enough about Amy. Shes dedicated and answers my questions. She's in perfect shape and is willing to give advice to the rest of us. I love the fact that she will answer my questions. I feel like I sort of know her so when she competes I can say she answered my questions before. Interactive bodybuildiers like this make this site awesome. She also works out at home as I do proving you don't need a gym to look amazing. I hope to meet her someday so I can get a picture/autograph.
Do you tell your friends and/or family about your fitness goals?
Yes
Why or why not?
I do in an attempt to motivate them. Also by doing this, I put my integrity on the line that I can and will achieve a goal.

What tips would you give to others to help them stay motivated over the long-term?
I've been working out for 20 years. I have kept a workout log and I didn't want gaps in it. This was a motivator. I also visit this site to see other people doing their thing. Women inspire me because I certainly don't have the genetics to be as big as the guys, I might as well try to catch up with the ladies. Guy pics don't inspire because I've looked and dreamed forever and I just could not get there. I do admit though, many of my years of training have been combined with a low protein diet. This is mainly because I know too much protein can harm my liver and working out to me was more for staying healthy and increasing athletic coordination (because I stink at sports) then risking killing myself with excess protein or roids. My train of though has changed a bit because my normal protein is honestly too low for this. I am now taking protein.I've been working out for 20 years. What bicep workout has worked best for you?
I really enjoy decending sets with dumbbell curls.
Let me start on the diet. I did do the tv dinner thing the first time I went through the plan. Not this last time though. I didn’t want the sodium so I did make changes. I will give you some examples below…
For chicken note that every weekend I make an entire bag of frozen...
I'm attempting to drink tea for caffeine and very limited coffee. I actually went to bed before 10pm last night for once, but I still felt exhausted all morning. Hopefully I'll feel better after I get my weekend off during my 23-26 holiday. Smiles
Sorry I missed your ab question! Your upper body should be raised off the bench where you have to contract your abs to stay in place....then crunch all the way up. Hope this helps you :)
It might make your arms stronger but it really does a job on your shoulders and rotator cuffs! The DVD even tells you if you have this huge list of problems (shoulders, wrist and back to name a few) DO NOT do the program.
Yes I totally agree! I noticed it when I made my oatmeal in the morning & could only eat about half before I was stuffed! Your stomach will get used to the smaller portions
