Background

When I Started: Aug 2000
HOW I STARTED:

I got started in because of football in highschool. I really didnt realize my potential until it was too late in football so I'm moved on to other sports I can be passionate about.

WHY I LOVE IT:

I love working out because I can lose myself in it, I can forget everything else that is bothering me and focus on something else that will provide results. I also love it because it is always challenging, if it becomes easy you increase the weight or go longer.

I stay motivated because anything I want to do I want to give it 100%. You have to be passionate, passion will lead to motivation. I also want to make fitness my life. I'd love to start or join a not for profit that raises money to keep P.E. classes in schools. The youth obesity epidemic is horrible and I feel this could help so many kids avoid this.

Transformation Update #1

With a few weeks down in the transformation I am 8 lbs lighter and haven’t really been following my nutrition plan which should change soon. Life has been hectic with training, nuggets games & trying to get every other house hold chore done. I’ve been training so hard lately it’s like I’m always sore and I recover the day before or the day of when it comes to training that part again. But this is also my fault in part because I haven’t been sleeping enough as well. All in all I need to get more serious, lifting weights isn’t the only part to the transformation. I decided to take part in this transformation contest because I had let myself go after my first competition. I took the meaning of bulk too literally. Everyone told me to be careful and I thought with everyone warning me I wouldn’t fall prey to it. I thought I’ll do a clean bulk and not get out of control. That’s exactly what happened, not having a regimented diet and free play allowed me to over indulge in junk food and holiday goodies.
