I was a skinny white boy workin at a fast food rest in Cleveland, walkin around at 135 lbs. I got a free membership to Ballys for putting a contest bowl in the store. It was over after that. I had always loved martial arts but never got serious till then with lifting. I loved it so much I started running gyms for them and did that for 7 yrs between there and Golds.
Why I Love It:
There is no feeling like that natural high you get. The feeling of personal accomplishment that can only be surpassed by the knowledge of how much healthier you are because of it. It's the greatest stress reliever. I can go on and on.
How I Stay Motivated:
My biggest motivators are my son and myself.
Exercise doesn't work for anyone you have to work for it. My little guy really keeps me going. His name is Austin he was born 3 mos premature. He has
shown more strength in overcoming death than
anyone I've ever seen when he was a baby. It
makes me proud to fight for a healthier life for him.
I love challenging myself. I got successful in my
career by setting high expectations and I try to do
the same with my body.
Being told Im hot definitely helps!
BB Accomplishments:
Fitness has always been a passion but never a primary competitive focus. But we'll see.

Are you a parent?
Yes
How has bodybuilding and fitness helped you to be a better parent?
People that care about themselves and have a good sense of health and discipline can use that to be a better parent. I dont have to feel like a hypocrit when I tell my boy not to drink, smoke or indulge too much, because I respect my own body.People that care about themselves and have a good sense of health and discipline can use that to be a better parent.
