How I Started:
Got tired of being tired all the time and not being able to go shirtless at the beach or swimming pool. I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror.
Why I Love It:
The pumped feeling you get after a workout and all the other health benefits that come along with weight lifting.
How I Stay Motivated:
I do it for my 10 yr old son. Would like to get back into shape again and live a long healthy life to see him grow up and to be a role model for him and my wife as well. I also don't want to look anymore like the average 40 year old American.
I want to lose 35 ~ 45 pounds and be in the best shape that I have ever been in.
Goal (Long):
I let myself really go this past year mainly due to a back injury which prevented me from going to the weight room. I've gained roughly 30 ~ 35 pounds from basically eating whatever I want and just sitting around. My back is okay now and my goal is to get into the best shape I have ever been with the hired help of a professional. I'm hoping by next summer or autumn of 2010 I will have reached that goal. Only time will tell how soon I'll be able to reach this goal of mine.
