When I Started: 1995
How I Started: I was a cheerleader for 5 years and a dancer for 18 years. To build stanima and muscle for cheerleading I started working out with my mom at 15. It wasnt until last year that I discovered the world and ladies of figure and I felt that it was what I needed to do. So, this is my start to getting lean and strong.
Why I Love It: Because I love the rush of pushing myself harder, running that extra mile, lifting heavier than I did last week. To stay healthy for myself and my family.
How I Stay Motivated: I am actually starting a trial run for competition prep. I want to compete some time in the fall but this is all new to me, so for the next 12 weeks I am tweaking my diet and training to see how my body responds to getting competition ready. That way I know what to do when I actually do compete.

Lots of ways...I have the best training partner-my husband, he keeps me going! I think of my mom and how proud she would be of me. MUSIC, fitness magazines, seeing all the tranformations on BB.com!

What type of outfit do you usually wear when you workout? Why?

I'm doing great, a lot of work work to get done, I'm lifting consistently, trying to add more weight, life is good. Take care of yourself and listen to your Dr's, I know first hand it's tough to stop but in the long run probably the best !!! Let's keep in touch. clc.

Everyhing is cool with me. Cali weather is nice and training is intense. You'll be back soon!! I know the wait is frustrating but cardio is a good start. Bet your anxious, huh? How soon do you have to wait before you can begin weight training?

I stay lean through a diet of hgih protein and healthy fat, w/ adequate carbohydrates combined with 4 days/week lifting and 6 days/week cardio. :)
