How I Started:
I was a cheerleader for 5 years and a dancer for 18 years. To build stanima and muscle for cheerleading I started going to the gym with my mom at age 13. I found myself in the middle of an eating disorder at age 15. It wasnt until last year that I discovered the world and ladies of figure and I felt that it was what I needed to do. So, this is my start to getting lean and strong.
Why I Love It:
Because I love the rush of pushing myself harder, running that extra mile, lifting heavier than I did last week. To stay healthy for myself and my family.
How I Stay Motivated:
I want to compete some time in the spring/summer. I am working with Jason Phillips to get myself in competition shape!
Lots of ways...I have the best training partner-my husband, he keeps me going! I think of my mom and how proud she would be of me. MUSIC, fitness magazines, seeing all the tranformations on BB.com!

Goal (Long):
To be healthy and strong. I want to compete in a figure competition. My first one will be in 7 months. Just recieved my ACE books to start on a PT cert! I want to help and inspire people that feel that weight loss and a healthy life style is out of reach.
Why I like this video: Jenny Lynn is one of my fitness idols, she is the first figure competitor I ever saw. This is one of her legs workouts leading up to the Arnold.
I went to the figure comp. and loved it! but I think that I am going to have to wait until next competition season..... so I am now training for a 10K in two weeks and a sprint tri in 4 weeks. I super pumped!!
I'm in the beginnings of training to compete figure in Summer/Fall 09' with JPhillips. Training is changed up every week.
Weights 5 days a week, sprints the other 2 days.

Wow, you look *amazing* it's good to see a girl putting on weight in a healthy and healthful way and looking stunning.
How's the running going btw? Any latest PBs? I have our local Perth City to Surf in 3 weeks... should be fun :)

I am actually running a half-marathon on July 26th, and my marathon is on October 4th ... I am 3 weeks into my training for the half and it feels pretty good. My distance day is 9 miles this week and I also do speedwork, tempo, and occasional hills which comes to about 20-25 miles per week.
