When I Started:
Oct, 2008
How I Started:
I hated being the person on the football team who had the aggression, but not the strength to match it. I couldn't see that i wasn't strong enough until I got pushed around to much in one season, that's when I knew I had to do something. Once I started I kept it quiet until people started noticing slight changes, then I came out so to speak and told anyone who asked, I didn't go about telling people because I was afraid of their reactions, but when they asked me had I started doing weight's it was a confidence boost which I liked, and from then on I've been addicted.
Why I Love It:
I love the weight's because of the results and the progress that can be made by going. Being able to lift a weight that never seemed possible gives great satisfaction. Secretly I want to be able to show off to friends, but I think that is a part of everyone who goes to the gym. Obivously I want my friends to be able to lift heavy aswell, but I want to be able to lift heavier than everyone around me, that would be my lifetime goal.
How I Stay Motivated:
My lifetime goal. I don't want anybody to be able to lift heavier than me in my gym. At present, I'm far from achieving my goal, but seeing people lift heavy weight makes me think to myself, I want to lift that, then lift heavier. The muscle pain I get the day after is a great reminder that I had a good session, if I don't feel that after a session I know I have to train harder or change my routine!
BB Accomplishments:
I have no major accomplishments, but every time somebody says, your getting bigger man, is an accomplishment in itself for me.
Overall Bigger and more defined build. I want to be bigger, stronger, and able to compete someday. I'd like to feature in magazines when I'm older, or hopefully get sponsored by some supplement manufacturer's. I know that I'll not be the next big thing in Bodybuilding, but there's a part of me that belives I can be, which helps me focus on the future. Mainly I want a body to be proud of and that shows alot of hard work.
