for me dumbbells are the great weapons for correcting those imbalances! it also helps improves strength imbalances.. so i don't treat dumbbells as a small brother of the barbells..in fact the whole program I'm using right now is compose of only dumbbell routine..

great progress pare... that's awesome you can get those gains from home with a few weights and a bench. we have about the same build,i need to lose the belly though... keep it up!
