Goal (Long):
After my big anorexia problem as a child, I started to overeat. It got pretty bad that it was ruining my social life, and made me depressed and unhappy with my appearance. In Oct 2008 my big brother introduced me to supplements and how exercises work, I started exercising but not as seriously as I should have. It wasn't until Apr 2009, when I met Stevep78 on BB.com, that I began to focus and change. In 3 months time under his guidance I lost 20 lbs of fat while gaining lean muscle. Bodybuilding and fitness/nutrition has helped me overcome so many problems in my life and has become a part of my day-to-day routine, I love it so much that it's become one of my majors in college, and I someday hope to own my own gym and help others achieve their goals, as my big brother Noel and my trainer Steve have helped me.
The Boss knows that it takes real dedication and willpower to achieve anything. It's because of him I was able to discover what I wanted to be and what it would take to reach that dream. He's helped me become harder, better, faster, stronger. I aspire to be a great trainer like him someday, and I hope he knows how grateful I am for his guidance. Thanks so much for being my trainer and friend Steve! LET'S TAKE FITNESS TO MACH 5! :)
What mistakes did you make when you first started working out?
Haha this one is soo bad. When I first started I would run on the treadmill for 15 minutes at 4.5mph, then lift little 4-pound weights and go home to eat a sandwich. I had no clue about timing, reps, and resistance.Haha this one is soo bad. What is the one tip you would give somebody who is just getting started?
I would have to say something about timing. Timing is one of the keys to Fitness. Some people just do things at the wrong time, and that's why they don't see progress.

How has bodybuilding and fitness helped and/or changed your family life?
My family is prone to high cholestrol and blood pressure. Being the "fit" one in the family has everyone coming to me asking for tips on eating healthier. Of course, they go straight back to the greasy meals after a week or two.My family is prone to high cholestrol and blood pressure.
