I used to be a little overweight and when I started working out (and drinking less) my body started changing I started lifting and saw my fat start to really dissapear. I am now in love with lifting and working out in general. Although I played soccer in college I just didn't have the passion that I have for changing my body like I do now.
Why I Love It:
I love the discipline it takes I like the pushing myslef to just a little further than what I thought I could do. It gives me a really big sense of accomplishment to see my body change, be able to lift 5 more lbs than I could the time before or just relieve some stress by getting away to the gym for an hour and a half each night.

I want to compete in a figure competion by 2009. I am just getting serious about lifting and getting in shape so I want to give myself time to get where I need to be and where I feel confident on getting on stage.
I started lifting seriously in the winter and have gainged 10 lbs of lean mass but also put on about 8 lbs of fat. So I am into my cut now. So far down about 5 lbs probably need to go about 5 more or so we will see what it looks like once I get closer to 14-13%bf...
I am sorry to hear that you got sick and I wish you a speedy recovery. My training has been pretty good and the results are getting better. Hell..er leg day is tomorrow and it is gonna be quite fun (and I use that term loosely lol).
