In 2007 I was a full-time mum to 2 gorgeous littlies, a wife and working part-time. I eventually got to the point where I had been doing everything for everybody else and I had literally fallen by the wayside. This is when I thought 'enough is enough'.....and I embarked on a 12 week bodyblitz journey. I had previously been a cardio queen and had not bothered with weights..........but now I absolutely LOVE lifting.
Why I Love It:
I love what weights have done (and can do) to sculpt my body. I have learnt that weights are the true and only things that will change the shape of my body!!!!
How I Stay Motivated:
I love browsing magazines and this website and learning more and more about lifting weights. Initially Melita Jagic was my inspiration. I still love and admire her physique, but now it is more about doing it for myself.
BB Accomplishments:
No big out-there claims to fame yet......but my biggest personal accomplishment was reaching 19%BF in October 2008.

Hey... Yeah I lift heavy in the off season and Love IT!!! I always work at increasing my weights in at least one exercise per body part each week. I do the same exercises when getting ready for comp but increase the reps to 20 for every exercise, so the weights drop a little but not much.
Yes I do my own training regime, 6 day split usually just so I can fit it in before work.. Now that the comps are over I will be doing 3 night cardios rather than every morning so I won't have to get up at 4am anymore, wow I get to sleep in till 5am LOL!!!

Hehehe I eat more but stick to the same food really, I am just so used to preparing those meals it is easier than trying to think of anything else LOL.

Thanx about the suit, would you believe my hubby put all the crystals on it for me LOL. No my trainer is Kelli Johnson, she is in Wytulla. She was the IFBB 2008 Miss Australia and is excellent. I am definitely doing the Olympia and start the prepartion at the end of July. Till then I am eating heaps and training heavy - YAY!
