I actually started working out when I was younger. We had a home gym therefore giving me direct and immediate access to some weights. I've been going at it ever since.
Why I Love It:
I love how my lifting and physique distinguishes me from everyone else, the feeling I get lifting in the gym or competing on stage, and the satisfaction of making progress.
How I Stay Motivated:
Magazines, feedback, and the will to separate myself from the typical American stereotype.
BB Accomplishments:
2009 Southern Nevada Bench Press Championships, 148.5 Class - 4th Place
2009 Las Vegas Power Clean Championships, 148.5 Class - 3rd Place
2009 National High School Power Clean Championship, 152 Class - 5th Place
Broke all 4/4 of my High School Records - 148.5 Class. Bench (270), Squat (345), Clean (255), Pull-Ups - 26.
1st Place Teen Division @ NPC Las Vegas Classic.

Waging war against misinformation!
When I was around 12 years old. Getting started early I suppose...
Taken after my competition (142.5 lbs) - I was already bloated and spilling over from a chocolate pancake binge. ;)
I believe I'll be making this my new progress pose.
This guy has become quite popular lately and for good reason! His natural build is truly impressive, to say the least, and at only 21 years of age. Another awesome example to strive for.
I actually make my own for the most part. I get ideas from my athletic workouts, magazines, and the Internet though.

Do you currently have a workout partner?
Yes
Why do you like having a workout partner? What are the benefits?
Every now and then I use a workout partner. If you trust them, they can really help you out on things like forced reps and negative reps. Also someone to "compete" with and keep you working hard.
