How I Started:
I always participated in quite a few sports. I got into lifting weights when I was 19, but stopped when I got pregnant. Started lifting again when my daughter was around 2 and then injured my shoulder in 2006 and have not really lifted since.
Why I Love It:
I love the way it makes me feel.
How I Stay Motivated:
My lack of strength after my shoulder surgery in February of 2007!

I hope it gets better soon. My New Years plans sound a lot like yours. I'll probably be staying home with my kids and watching movies too. I'm thinking about taking them to see the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie.
Oh wow, that sucks. What happened to your shoulder? It drives me crazy when I injure myself and can't lift. That's my stress relief! You have any wild and exciting plans for New Year's?
I'm going stir crazy! We've been stuck in the house for the last 2 days because of the blizzard. I might go crazy if I don't get to the gym soon...lol. Did you get any of the crazy snow where you are?
