Serious training began in 2005 when I finished high school and realized just how bad of shape I was in.
Why I Love It:
Seeing all the work you put in pay off in the mirror is one of the most satisfied feelings a person can experience. Also breaking personal records for lifts brings a great sense of accomplishment too.
How I Stay Motivated:
I remember what I used to look like and how much progress I've made, and then think ahead about how much work I still have to do.
BB Accomplishments:
Dropped about 13% bodyfat then gained a significant amount of muscle over the past couple years.

Since my high school days where I was severely overweight and not really that muscular, I have changed my lifestyle and continue to better myself every day. I dropped from my highest at 292 lbs/26% bodyfat, and not a lot of strength, to a fairly lean 205 lbs at around 12% bodyfat. Stronger now than I have ever been, and never satisfied as there is always room to improve.

What celebrity body would you most like to have? Why?
Honestly...probably Bob Sapp or Kimbo Slice, because although they aren't really cut or defined, they are thick as hell, and powerful. Being tall, I think it's more of an accomplishment for me to put on enough mass to look thick and powerful as opposed to really cut in.Honestly...probably Bob Sapp or Kimbo Slice, because although they aren't really cut or defined, they are thick as hell, and powerful. What is your favorite cardiovascular exercise? Why?
I enjoy activities like basketball, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, or something like road/trail biking. I get bored running laps and treadmilling. I do enjoy swimming too, as I'm terrible at it.
While I'm bulking, I figured I'd them a shot. The increases I've seen have been pretty dramatic, but with a little bit of a price. They work well, but are kind of a double edged sword. My lifts have gone up pretty fast, but likewise, so has my weight. Which isn't bad, but it seems like...
great transformation story man. one i can relate to. you've got impressive muscle mass and definition. ever post any of your wo routines? i think it's a challenge to be tall and truly pack on the muscle mass while retaining the definition. you've seemed tohave mastered it. props to you brother.
Hey Pegleg... what do you know about squats and CALVES. Calves are muscles on the lower part of your legs below the quads and hammies. Let me know if you need me to show those to you... cause I'm staff and all.
