Got tired of being fat, out of shape and depressed. I have allowed alcohol and other crap ruin my life and my body. It's time for a change for the better.
Why I Love It:
Three reasons: my wife and two kids. I love working out because it makes me feel better. It makes me feel positive. I have a family to take care of, so I need to take care of myself and be around for them as long as I can.
How I Stay Motivated:

This is the body I am not pleased with. I have ballooned up to 170 pounds. I have ruined it with alcohol and other crap. I'm tired of seeing this body and I'm ready for change.

Goal (Long):
For several years now I have been asking for miracles or easy way solutions to solve all my problems. I finally got my head out of my ass and realized thats not why I was put on this planet. no one or anything is going to give me a mirale or an easy path to life. I need to earn it. I need to earn everything in life. I need to provide others with miracle and problem solutions and not expect them myself. It's time for me to roll up my sleeves, rebuild my life and make my soul stronger. From there, I will do my best to help others find and create a better and stronger life for themselves.
Alright, we are almost done with the second phase of the P90X program. This phase wasn't as great compared to the first four weeks. We had company for two weeks, some birthdays, my son started schoole and on top of that, we were sick and we missed out on three days of working out. No big deal....
YIKES! I hope your kids get well SOON and that you and your wife don't get what they have. Yesterday, after school, I got my flu shot. Do what you can to take care of yourself.
Aw yeah, thank you. That is my man. :0) Workouts are going amazing. I'm feeling it right now I've been doing some toning excersize videos on the TV lol yet to complete a full one but thats my goal by the end of Oct. They're pretty intense! Been doing crazy amounts of walking too. Feeling pretty awesome. How has the workout routine been going for you? Thanks for the add btw!

I have been so busy lately, it's been a little crazy! I went back to school, plus working 55 hours a week, and the gym, lol so I've been a little wore out. Took a week off from the gym, and it felt great to recover a bit, but also felt like I lost a little strength in that one week!
How are you workouts coming along?
Since Monday, I’ve been on an emotional roller coaster because of the cost of returning to college and the tuition. On Friday, however, I found out that I’ve been awarded a $3,500.00 Northwestern College grant. Also, I might be able to get two student loans. I’m stunned by the way God has been going before me and making my path smooth.
On the 9th, I have an NCAA compliance meeting and on the 14th, I begin training for track.
That’s my update. How are things going for you?
My workouts came to a dead stop too because I was in classes from 8 to 6pm most days and I just couldn't fathom working out, but just like you, I too went grocery shopping and stocked up on all the essentials. I'm cooking right now :) The In and Out challenge was organized by julofthenile and its all about an inside out approach towards weight loss. There are a number of points a person can earn during the week... You ought to read about it on her blog... I'm running out of space I think :)

hey handsome! Im rollin with the punches bro. the jobhunt has me stressed and miserable so Ive been a little lax with my diet as far as beer. Good with exercise and cardio tho. been havin beers at night this week, but im startin fresh monday. all the lifting and cardio vs. the beer, has kept me in neutral so ill take that this week. good fights are on tommorow night ,elite XC sat night fights on CBS i think. lookin forward to the gina and kimbo fights. hows life on your end dude?
thanks for the encouragement. I think I took the pictures to a positive. I worked out like a nut tonight. I do want to make a change and I know its not going to be immediate. I guess I was more upset that last night my workout tape wasnt working and there was nothing I could do about the way I felt. I think I made up for it today! ;op
its in progress right now. I just started taking a new dosage yesterday. Wont know if its working until my next lab work. Hopefully it works this time but i am feeling better. I joined 24hour fitness and i found a group online where we can set up dates to play sports! how are you doing?
yesss, u look awesome, im only in my third week and im already showing my upper abs im impress!!!!!!!!!! i already do ab ripper in one piece and sometimes more reps!!!!!! first day i just did half!!!
what do I need for it? equipment-wise, that is. I looked into it a little bit and I really want to give it a shot, it seems to work, and you're living proof that it works as well. I'm just not sure.
