My motivation is to be the best I can be! I know that sounds cliche-ish, however its true!!!
I'm 43 (not gettin any younger). I feel the best I've ever felt on all levels. Now I want to bring my fitness level to an ultimate high! I want to challenge myself. As we age, we get more belly fat, arms get flabby, butt sags bones get brittle....but i'm inspired by many women in fitness that have pushed beyond stereo types and have been successful at maintaining a beautiful external body, as well as being strong and active and not caved into this decline and waste away...saying things like, i'm too old...bull crap! lol (don't they say, age is just a number, or a mindset) ;)
My youngest son will be off to college and I am having a chance in life to do something for me. This challenge is actually an inspiration to my sons as well, which is something good for them to see...i.e. make a goal and achieve a goal....and see all that is required to make it happen, all the ebbs and flows that come with it!!!
My mom just died a bit over 2months ago, and this too is part of my motivation. We only live once. This is NOT a dress rehearsal...I want to SHOW UP for my life and LIVE it! So, hence....HERE I AM! Ready for the challenge and many more to come. I am alive and I plan to LIVE!!
