Overall Goal: Trying some new supplements, and concentrating on doing my cardio EVERY TIME I step foot in the gym w/no excuses!! Trying to reduce my body fat by training and eating smarter. I have learned to Love that squat rack.
Fit Status:
The new diet and workouts I tried failed miserably. I didnt think that you could bust your butt in the gym twice a day and not lose weight

How I Started:
Originally In Highschool for Football. I worked out while in the military just to stay in shape. Have never really been dedicated or serious before.
Why I Love It:
I want that feeling of self confidence again. I want that feeling of accomplishment after finishing that gruelling workout. I also want to reap the maximum benefit that comes from hard work and dedication.
How I Stay Motivated:
I'm looking for Motivation. I've read a lot of comments from people on this site and it seems that the information and encouragement people are getting from each other is stimulating change in peoples lives and attitudes about fitness and nutrition. I want to be a part of that. I want to change my body and change my life. I really want to feel good about myself again. I am so very embarassed and ashamed when I look at myself in the mirror. I will try to get over my extreme embarassment and display some pictures so I can monitor my progress and stimulate myself to destroy that fat bastard staring back at me on the screen. If I ask for you to be my friend, Please Help!!

My goal is to get back down to this weight/and or bodyframe but be ripped and cut. This is probably me in the best shape I've ever been in, I really want to surpass this and look as awesome as my body will allow. Can I do it? Its up to me now.
Trying some new supplements, and concentrating on doing my cardio EVERY TIME I step foot in the gym w/no excuses!! Trying to reduce my body fat by training and eating smarter. I have learned to Love that squat rack.
Goal (Long):
I want to transform my body and get my weight down to 190-200 pounds. I want very low bodyfat and I want to build muscle. I dream of melting away my beer-belly and displaying a nice six pack. I want to get rid of the Man-Breasts and have nice tight well defined Pecs. I would like to turn heads when I go out. I look forward to having more self-esteem and confidence in myself. I have worked hard in the gym before, but it seems that I'm always hit with a sickness of some sort when I really get rolling. I want to avoid sickness. I need to learn how to use supplements and when to use them. I want to learn what this CLEAN EATING is, that I've been reading about. I'm ready for the PAIN, SWEAT, and DEDICATION in the weight room. I'm even ready to change my diet. I have taken the last humiliating insult about my body and the roundness of my belly. I would like to show all the HATERS in my life who tell me I cant lose the weight and look good, and those who tell me, "why bother just be fat and happy" that I CAN DO IT!!!!! I know that If I really apply myself I can do it in 4 months.
I recently tried to step up my training by pushing myself to do 2 a days while at the same time restricting my calories and upping my cardio to 2 30 minute sessions on the treadmill and riding my bicycle to and from work (about 2.5 miles one way) for 4 consecutive days a week. I only lasted...
After doing some researching, reading articles and experimentation over the past 4 weeks on this site I have decided to really challenge myself.I want to start a cutting cycle. I have never restricted calories, while working out intensely. I dont know...
Thank you for the kind words!
Sleep is an issue for me as well, but I have decided to stick with an early bird schedule (wake at 6am) - even if it means I am dead tired by 10-11pm.
Good luck with diet, and keep dodging those crafty girl scouts, haha!
Cutting is not bad at all brother. Especially when your on the Anabolic Diet. The reason being is because carbs are not your main source of energy. On a traditional diet, carbs are the main source of energy. When you start to cut, what do you go for? The carbs of course. On the anabolic diet it does work like this. While you do cut your portions, your strength will not suffer. More than likely you will continue to gain strength.
Bro it jsut varies on your genetics, body type & etc. I lose weight pretty easy so I only have to cut for a few weeks. Some people do it for 12 weeks, just varies on the individual. I still to moderate to heavy weight for high reps 10 to 15 most of the time, 20 for legs. I normally do 30 minutes to an hour of cardio per day, intensity is normally low for me. Like I said before, what works for one person may not work for the next.

Hey, bro. I do see changes, but not sure it's weight loss. Stupid scale gives a different reading each time - I average 3 tries or just choose the lowest - lol. Good luck on the progress, and look forward to pics showing your hard work! Hang in there and shine in 09.
