I was going through a hard time in my life and I wasn't eating right. Maybe two times a day. Doing this I lost about ten pounds. I was always on the thin side usually hovering around 150 lbs. I got a gym membership and started reading everything I could about weight training and nutrition. After about two years I've gained 25lbs.
Why I Love It:
I feel great after I work out and my energy level goes up. I want to feel good and look good.
How I Stay Motivated:
My wife keeps me motivated.
BB Accomplishments:
In 3 years I've gained 35 lbs.

Sup bro! Yeah I've used superpump 250 several times, but CL white flood is, in my opinion, far superior. Purple wraath is ok for aminos, but you'll get a ton of energy from WF. You can workout for 2 hours and be ready for more! Order a small tub for like $25 if you are skeptical. Trust me though, it's awesome stuff.
You know, 5th in the Universe is not that bad for a first show! haha
I am hoping to get better for next year, plus European competition require very hard, muscular and cut female physique... :0( perhaps I should try overseas.
It sucks when you have to choose b/t the gym and life. Grad school is def important, but if going to the gym relieves stress then hopefully it fits in her sched...it's def my place to get away!! Tell her to stick with it, things always work out when you make efforts!!

i usually dont count it 2 much, i go by each meal and portion size... so when my carbs go lower, i will add fats in to a few meals. i.e. a meal may be a large chic breast and some broc, 30-40g pro 5-10g carbs (mostly fiber tho) and i will add in 15g of fat via flax seed oil or a handfull of almonds. try to keep fats 10-20% of cals on higher carb days and 30-40% on lower carb days, and see how u respond to that. hope this helps a bit man
it depends wat stage im at, when im bulking i dont break it all dwn. when im cutting, i usualy stay lower on the carbs rarely going above 150g-200 a day. mon-thur i keep carbs low (50g-100 if that) tho i eat plenty of almonds, peanut butter (for fats), spinach and broc. then i up the carbs by 50g on fri, another 50 and 50 on sun. i use oats and whole grain bread for carbs, on these days i cut out some of the fats and just have some almonds in the evning as my carbs get lower as the day goes on.
