Personal Info And Background:

Cedar Falls, Iowa, United States
Occupation:

Personal Website:

High School:
When I Started:
Jun, 2001
How I Started:
My brother was a star football player when I was in Jr. High and I wanted to "be just like him," so I started lifting weights and got addicted.
Why I Love It:
Most people that compete in sports work their way up to a certain event, training for months and competing for one day. I compete 5 days a week, and train two. My five days of competing are the days I walk into the gym and hit it hard. The two days of training are the days I simply focus (plan next week's workouts), rest, and eat; that's the key to getting stronger. Every day I walk in the gym is a competition for me. Am I going to be better than I was one week ago? Can I add five pounds and hit the same reps? Is my focus here? Is my intensity up? I feel the adrenaline every time I walk into the gym, and when thats gone from my life, I'll know that "it's time." Until then, though, its MY time.
How I Stay Motivated:
Positive Attitude + Association With Positive Friends = Motivation. Motivation + Determination = Raw Power Raw Power + Hard Iron = DOMINATION.
BB Accomplishments:
To be determined..

Goal (Long):
Today, I'm squatting a small bull. Next week, when that bull has grown, I'll squat him again. The week after that, when the bull is even bigger...you get the idea. I compete daily with myself, and that's the way it is. I grew up on Arnold movies, so that's how I envisioned my adult self-I'll never stop striving for perfection!

What are your secrets for making healthy food taste great?
Vegetables-the more vegetables and spices you add, the more you can tweak it each time and keep things "mixed up." The importance is variety.

I like your philosophy on working out. I am going to try to start doing squats once my knee is better. Keep up the good work and positive attitude.
